I am a native of Birmingham, Alabama. Artistic expression has always been integral to who I am. Namely, dance. Dance changed my vantage point of simple and complex things. It cultivated storytelling in me. A form of quiet expression. A mode of communication. Telling stories through movement.

There is healing power in storytelling. In fact, I consider myself a logophile, lover of words. Words are powerful. We must choose to use them to bring healing and joy.

I am a storyteller by heart and have found the extraordinary magic in it since becoming a mother. Motherhood has created a beautiful lens through which I experience life. It is dynamic, colorful, endearing, and comical.

Sharing stories of laughter, fun, relationships, and healing is my heart's desire.

Mom-ME, I am so proud of you!

Mom-ME, I am so proud of you is an endearing and comical perspective on a journey through potty training. Check our the blogpost that started it all:

Potty Training, A Hot Germy Mess!

https://themom-forum.com/bloglist/potty-training-a-germy-hot-mess/

Everyone knows when it is time to go, you must go! The urge does not care if you are fatigued, busy, or germ sensitive. As moms, we do so much.

To hear your child express appreciation for you is priceless. No matter how stressful the pottying experience is for mommy, the daughter is proud of her mother's efforts to get her to the potty in time. Whether it is that exhausting moment right before bedtime or dreaded public restrooms, mom got her to the potty.

One morning she sweetly whispered in her mom's ear, "Mommy, I am so proud of you!" This is a fun picture-book full of color and easy readability for pre-kindergarten children.

Mom-ME is derived from my daughter's first spelling of mommy.

What are people saying?
